At the end of the year, we will be ending support for Windows XP and Windows Vista in Paladins. This means our support team will no longer take cases from players using these operating systems.
These OSes have stopped receiving official support from Microsoft for some time now, and a vast majority of our playerbase has upgraded to a newer version of Windows. On November 1st, we began rolling out a new version of our launcher to PC users. Players that are using our launcher on Windows XP OR Windows Vista will not be migrated to this new launcher.
Starting on January 1, 2019, all official Hi-Rez support for Paladins on Windows XP and Windows Vista will end. Players on these operating systems may still play Paladins, but any support cases dealing with technical issues will not be handled. This timing also aligns with Steam’s new policy, where they will be ending Steam support for Windows XP and Windows Vista. At the beginning of next year, the Steam client will no longer run on these operating systems, and users will need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows to access Steam.
We encourage players that are still using one of these older operating systems to upgrade to a newer version of Windows prior to January 1, 2019. Thank you for your understanding and we will be sure to communicate reminders as we get closer to these dates.
